Our condolences to the family of George Wilson, retired Commander of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Department, who passed away on Feb. 9, 2018. In addition to his service with the Sheriff’s Department he worked with the FBI, Secret Service, and foreign dignitaries. He was also a Martial Artist who, in the 1960’s, started one of the first Aikido schools in Brevard County. His student, Dr. HT Walker, went on the establish the Sand Drift Aikido Dojo that’s been in operation for over 48 years.
We appreciate and honor the legacy of Wilson Sensei.
